Admission, Hours and Fees

We are able to offer places part-way through a term to children who have reached the age of 2 years, subject to available spaces and our Admissions Policy.

We are able to accept up to 24 children at each session.

Children in nappies are facilitated. We ask that you supply nappies, sacks, wipes and a change of clothing.

Opening Hours

Homepage StorytimeWelland Pre-school operates Monday to Friday 9am–3pm during school term time (Term dates here)  Welland Pre-school does not operate on an hourly basis – we offer 3 sessions per day and these are –

9am – 12pm 12pm – 1pm 1pm-3pm
Morning Lunch Afternoon
3 hours £10.80 1 hour £3.60 2 Hours £7.20

Children staying for our 12-1pm lunch-time session are requested to bring a packed lunch.

We regard meal times as an important part of the setting’s day and organise snack-times and lunches so that they are social occasions in which children and staff participate.   We promote healthy eating and utilise these times to help children learn about its importance.

At morning snack-time we offer a range of foods which may be fresh and dried fruit, raw vegetables, yogurt, crackers and bread sticks.  Children also experience the foods of different cultures.

Fees

Until your child reaches funding age, all Welland Pre-school sessions will be charged at £3.60 per hour and an invoice will be given at the start of each half term.  Payment will be required within 14 days.  Usually funding will begin in the term following a child’s third birthday, however, for April children, funding will be available from September.
