Our vision is to give every child the best start in life and to develop stable roots that will support them with their learning journey and love for lifelong learning; resulting in confident, unique and happy individuals.

Vision Statement
Our Forest school is a positive and peaceful environment which has been developed to support the pre-school children to learn and grow. Our aim is to nurture within each child a love for nature and the natural world; for them to connect and experience its wonders for themselves encouraged by passionate and enthusiastic practitioners. This relaxed yet stimulating environment which the children are free to explore will allow them to follow their individual interests, at there own pace, learning and developing through their own curiosity.
Forest School has been proven to facilitate children's learning and development as they are all empowered and supported to be independent, self motivated and confident individuals. This is achieved by allowing the children to initiate self-guided learning. The forest school leader and practitioners provide sessions which are specifically tailored around each unique child's developmental needs in order to inspire and scaffold child-led learning. This is achieved through careful observation by the pre-school Team.
The practitioners involved are eager to learn and discover, alongside the children, in order to care for, maintain and positively impact the site's natural beauty; leaving the area in a better condition then we found it.
The children will benefit from being outside free to explore, be active, experiment and be creative developing their fine and gross motor skills. Risk taking and learning through play increases the children's confidence in their own abilities and new found skills and talents will raise their self-esteem resulting in them building positive relationships. In this 'magical' environment they experience awe and wonder stimulating their imagination resulting in a more creative mind. Also, the children gain understanding, Knowledge and begin to develop their critical thinking as they are motivated to concentrate on a particular task or focus on an activity that they have chosen. Overall, the children benefit in all areas of learning and development.
