Our Story

Since 1971, Welland Pre-school has successfully created an environment for children aged 2-5 years old that is accessible, secure, stimulating, friendly and welcoming


Recognising our value to children, families and the local community, we were able to receive specialised funding to help create our new pre-school premises in 2010, enabling us to go from strength to strength and offer full-day care


We believe in promoting acceptable behaviour, good social skills and respect for others. Children are happy, confident and feel valued


As children thrive on routine, we have a structured timetable that the children follow, remember and appreciate. Very quickly, they are the ones to tell us that it is story-time but we have to tidy first!


By being an independent charity, we are able to keep our service affordable without compromising on the quality of our childcare, with the option of government funding to those eligible


Although we are based in the beautiful country-side village of Welland, we welcome children from all over Worcestershire with no catchment area required. We work closely with local nurseries, pre-schools, groups, churches and schools


All families have different needs and we endeavour to be as flexible as possible so please contact us if you would like to know more about our services
